Noisy, they don't grip very well on dry roads and they give the car somewhat
'unique' handling BTDT.
Considering that most places in the UK have rarely seen more than a couple
of days snow diring that last few years (not counting the highlands of
Scotland, and other areas above 1000ft) M&S are not only a waste of time but
potentially dangerous too. Good quality winter tyres like Michelin Alpin are
a much better idea - winter tyres have a rubber compound that is better able
to cope with the cold.
