I'd like to second Brett's post to the site. As the petitioner from Maine to the ACNA in support of the creation of the NAAC, I've also lobbied the interim (and great) NAAC leadership to welcome participation by all the ACNA North Atlantic, New England region, Central Atlantic, members and friends from Canada and the west, Urquattro Preservation Group enthusiast, etc., etc., urquattro owners in the Sunday, June 18 German Car Day at the Lars Anderson Museum of Transportation in Brookline, MA. With some 40 acres of lawn available (so I've been told), the Museum has promised plenty of space for our urquattros and those "other" Audis.
You'll recall my earlier post on this event and Gary Brown's recent post about wanting to get a lot of urqs at this event. With a great turnout , we'll get some press--at least with the Quattro Quarterly--and continue on the road to see our beloved urqs recognized as the ground-breaking cars they are.
The NAAC would love to see a great turnout of urqs at that event. Four or five listers have told me they plan to attend the "MoT" event, but we really need a lot more to make the statement. I sure hope that the Canadian contingent will seriously consider making the trip south.
In addition to sending your comments to Brett, please also let me know if you are contemplating coming to the event in June, so that the NAAC folks can get that info into the next newsletter as an added draw for the event.
Thanks,
Bill Bremer
