Yeah, and aren't the Stebro mufflers just big hollow chambers too,
instead of at least a perforated pipe inside for the flow?  Similar to
a flowmaster, but without the baffles, and instead the walls are lined
with baffle material?

At least that's what I recalled reading about them.  If so, that seems
like it would hurt flow (relatively) the way a hollowed out cat isn't
as good as one with a through-pipe welded inside it.  I haven't seen
any tests of them versus others or stock tho'.
