It will leak, make rubber seals soft, there will be leaking, not
recommended.
The Esso Univis J13 hydraulic oil is a good replacement oil.
I have been using Esso Univis J13 for 1 year on my 1986 Audi 5000 (type 44),
so far no problems. No oil leaks.

If anyone is seeking the Esso Univis J13 hydraulic oil to replace either
Pentosin 7.1 or LHM+ a Co-op agricultural distributor would be a good place
to buy. This oil is used by farmers for their hydraulics. I happen to know
of one Co-op in Campbellford, Ontario off Highway 30, which is about 45 km
east of Peterborough, Ontario
