[urq] Power Locks Troubleshooting

A few days, someone was asking about the power locks, and how to go about
figuring out what's not working.

Here's how I'd troubleshoot the problem. Takes maybe 5 minutes to at least
give you a clue where to start the real work:

- Power is fed to the driver's key switch all the time. It's a single pole,
double throw switch. Sends power to either the close or open position
contact all the time.

- The other end of the key wiring goes to the connector at the pump.

I'd test at the pump connector first, with a test light. Pump is in the
right side of the trunk, buried well.

- On the connector to the pump, the outside of the 3 pins are the 'lock'
and 'unlock' leads from the key switch, with the center pin ground.

-At that pump connector, You should always have power on one of the outside
pins of the connector with the key in one position, and on the other
outside pin of the connector with the key in the other position.

If only one is true, then problem is probably the switch, or door jamb wire.

If none of the connector terminals ever go live, I'd look to fuse or
doorjamb wire. If both are OK, then start looking to the pump.

Hope this helps?
