[urq] Sad News

That was exactly my reaction as well. I felt as I might if I'd known him
personally. I then realized I did feel like I'd known him personally. I
found an old post from him in the archives from '97. Don't know if it was
anywhere near one of his first but it was about his '85 urq. I recall his
200q20v days and his wife posing with their beautiful glacier blue sedan.
Then their parting of ways and a long time with no word from him. Then
something about dealing with unmarried life with kids, etc. And most
recently his Stebro hassles.

In all, probably as much or more than I know about some current 1st person
friends. Hell I may even have met him personally at Monterey in '99, I just
can't remember. But it doesn't matter. The online world was our world...
is, our world, all of us, in a very real way both like and unlike each of
our own "real worlds".
