[urq] bomb test variation with S4 brakes?

Hi All,

I just replaced my bomb on my early 83 urq. It was down to "Hmm, will I get 
any assist when I brake this time?"

I got a great deal on a new Lemforder bomb at my Euro FLAPS.

While driving, everything is wonderful now.

BUT, when I do the bomb test, all I get are about 10 pumps before it goes 
hard.

I have twin piston G60's up front and urS4 rears. Might these somehow 
influence the number of pumps before the pedal goes hard?

Ot, did I buy a bomb that had been sitting on the shelf long enough to lose 
some charge?

Ideas?
