AFAIK, there were only a handful of these cars built by privateers
here in the States for competition use.  Rui Brazil built one, Mark
Nelson did too, obviously John Buffum, and there was one other by Four
Star Racing or somesuch that I have pics of from MH99 if I'm not
mistaken.  I'm sure there are others, but that might get you started.
You might check out the pictures page at www.20v.org.  There were some
there and probably still are.....
If it was a CA car to begin with, that probably rules out both
Buffum's (Libra Racing), and Mark Nelson's.
