Hi Martin/Steve/James/All,
I have the stock urq master cylinder, and the bomb has the same spec as a
1983 BMW 733i. I don't think it says so on the one I just bought, but in
the archives someone mentions 100bar/0.48litre specs for this replacement
bomb.
Are these the same specs, or close to the same, as the urq's?
My car brakes well now, so I'm not too worried, but am curious. I'll check
to see how much ATF the bomb really holds soon, and will let the list know.
It will probably be in the form of x cm drop in the reservoir from empty.
Oh, BTW, yesterday, driving home from a wedding with the GF, on a big
freeway approaching a bridge, my gas pedal went to the floor. ^$#% foam
pedal bushing thingies. It was a slow climb over the bridge. Thankfully
traffic was moving slowly anyways.....
Cheers,
Brady
