There is a growing group of german auto "kids" in my area now that I
thought I might sell the ury to they always check it out whenever it's
around and ask about buying it......they haven't pulled the; welllll  I
might buy a Honda with a shift light and sewer pipe exhaust instead yet.
But I have been commuting 90 miles a day 3days a week in it and am
starting to get emotionally attached again.....got the double take and
thumbs up from a new s4 wagon guy this am......wussy wouldn't even race
me....i think he was scared to lose in his brand new $60k auto

Steve.... you make me feel a little more normal. I thought I was the
only  
one that had that "reversible for no real reason"  mind-set. I always
like  the 
idea of going back without further hacking if I don't like the mod.
Oh well. As you say, it really doesn't matter that much anyway.
FWIW - Sure have been enjoying my particular "version" these  days.
