Actually your assessment may be a bit premature, I was told (by someone
who films the events) they are very close to picking the US rally
circuit, which was very close to extinction due to insurance and major
sponsors pulling out......which makes sense, since we know how well
anything international other than the Olympics does here in the US. Even
ski racing when bode is the reigning world cup champion (first time for
an American in over 20 years) is an obscure Sunday nite OLN
program......even lance wouldn't have gotten good coverage if he wasn't
for beating up on the French, and screwing a rock star !!  (for you
louis-alain ;-)) 

I personally would rather see the world rally.....especially since I can
see a lot of unedited scca rally footage regardless.
