I am dismantling a brake servo from a WR quattro. The Aim is to find a supplier for the seals so that I and others when they need them can keep our quattros on the road.
So far I have removed the contents of the main casting and have identified an oil seal (about 2cm dia) that sits in the plastic cup at the front end (nearest the front of the car) and an O ring that sits in a recess in the main casting at the rear end (nearest the windscreen). Does anyone know if there are more seals within the piston/valve assembly? If so how is this assembly dismantled to gain access to them? Are there any web pages with photos or instructions? I have search to no avail so far.
Any assitance gratefully received.

I have found the reason why this particular servo leaked, the aforesaid 2cm seal originally had a small circular spring collar around it's inner aperture, this had become dislodged and had been pulled through the hole by the push rod. I guess from sudden use after a long period of inactivity. Moral? - keep using the quattro. Don't let it sit idle.

Many thanks
