I love this. So I know there is no chance of getting any spray cans or
touch up paint for my Montego Black urq (LY9V) from the dealer. But they
were helpful in the past of pointing me to a body shop who would mix the
paint for me. I forgot the name of the place so I called the dealer
again.
 
Guess what they can't find paint code LY9V, apparently it has been
deleted from their system. They did check, and Montego black was a
colour they painted '84 ur-qs and I had the correct code - but it has
just been

removed from their database. Their offer of finding another black was
politely declined.
 
I believe this is Audi's attempt to increase the ur-quattro's reputation
to mythical...... soon the model won't even exist in their parts
system....
there will be no need
