So disappointing... I wonder, is Audi trying to eradicate all pre
"Unintended Acceleration" models? Heh, don't like your past, just erase
it, right? Idiots.

This really sucks!
Assuming we're not all over-reacting and that it will all turn out
peachy, then this is really disappointing and maddening.
I am very proud to have "discovered" what a cool car the urq is, and am
happy to talk with anyone who asks about its history. Unfortunately for
Audi, I will probably also add that these cars will slowly disappear now
that Audi is no longer supporting their all-time flaghip upon which they
rebuilt their entire reputation.
And people will likely ask, because I may very well remove my grill
emblem and cover the rings on the doors as well as the trunklid decals.
Big black rectangles on the doors will probably elicit a question from
the curious.
Those who don't ask probably think the car is a Scirocco with a body kit
anyways.
Ironically, this type of tactic might work best at an Audi show. And
Audi owners who don't have the rings on their cars can still debadge and
"cover"
the non-existant door rings anyways as a show of support.
waddaya think?
