If its still wired as originally delivered.  As delivered, switching on the 
A/C turns on the rad fan always.  It does this via the little DPDT silver 
relay in the aux relay panel above the glove box.  You'll know it because 
that's the one that melts.  One side switches on the compressor and the 
other side does the rad fan.  Extended use melts both the relay and the 
socket (#302 was that way).  The T44 cars got smarter with the 3 speed rad 
fans.  They were able to run the fan at the low speed when A/C was on and 
still have the normal 2nd stage cooling.  3rd stage, aka "hurricane speed" 
comes on with A/C high pressure or overheat condition.  That's the way I'm 
going to wire it when my Davis Al radiator and big Spal fan go in.
