VW is in the business of selling new cars. I think they would be
strongly motivated to listen if they thought urq owners were brand loyal
and purchased new cars. In other words, how much financial clout do we
have? I can imagine their perception is we motor heads who only buy used
cars and have no economic value other than helping them clean out the
old parts inventory. 

So let's do some research for them.

How many urq owners have purchased a new VW or Audi in the past 5 years?
How many? Go ahead and include all in your immediate family.  

I'll start, among my wife and two son's we count an  '04 Jetta GLI, '04
Golf GTI, '05 A4 1.8q and two '06 A3 3.2 DSG for a total of 5.  See, I
fit the motor head pattern :-)

Would ny one volunyteer to be the tally master so we don't overburden
the list traffic?
