Have you considered using products like "Rain-Away" or " Rain-X".
On the front window, you only have to use wipers 2 or 3 times a day when you
start in the morning (depending on speed) but above 50 km/h dust and rain
just rool of the window.
It is a sort of nano technologi.
Using these products on the front headlight have the same effect.
In doubt of it works? Try using it on only half the windshield (drivers
side) and nothing on the other. You will se the difference in 1 day even on
a dry day.
One treatment last a month. There is for a year in a bottle for 8 Euros and
a failing wiper is not a serious problem.
