great- the seal too?
I had the windshields in both my '91 CQ and 200 20vt replaced last year due to
golf ball strikes ( I live across from a small 9 hole public course)
Damn goofy golfers can't shoot straight and keep hitting the cars.

It's a CGT- I wouldn't scrap an 85 Urq unless it was flattened like a pancake
or
the chassis was 90 % destroyed. :-)
The trunk is metal but in extremely good shape. The car was hit in the
front(r)
due to an idiot turning across in front of the car. I've had it stored for
15 years.
Most other parts on the car are in excellent condition except the front cross
piece, bumper and
cover and right front sheetmetal.
The spoiler is already on my Urq unfortunately.
I'm stripping the dash and electricals to use for the Urq too.
My '83 has that crappy VW fire..er fuze box- I'm rewiring the car with the
CGT fuse box and wiring harness.
The urq is going to get a built 10vt MC with MS&S etc. Also using
a 91 200tq 20v tranny and CQ rear diff to convert to 4:11's-
I'm helping a friend scrap a '90 CQ so I've got all kinds of parts to
swap in /out.
The Urq is getting suspension, electricals and powerplant sorted out this
spring and
then over next winter I'll strip the chassis down and have all the rust
removed and
redo the paint and get all the body stuff back to 100%.
The goal is to build a really fun summer car. The car is too far gone to
return to
original condition - the chassis is in pretty good shape overall but the last
two owners
just didn't take very good care of her.
Know anyone that wants a stock WX- 130k miles on the engine, 15k on a NEW
head and the
016 tranny and diff? I'll have it all up on Audifans in a month or so too.
