[urq] Engine Over-Temp Question??

... check where the two sensors are ... that may explain the difference.  ISTR that the switch for the overtemp is actually in the back of the head ... if your temp gauge sensor is up at the hose flange it could well explain the difference.  

It could also be the switch ... the part is probably original ... and things can go bad over 20+ years of hard use!
