[urq] Sunroof not sealing

We're on the same page. Earlier today I went by a hardware store and picked
up some longer screws and bolts. Then I dropped by a local salvage yeard
and picked up a new cable drive- no different than mine. I'm pretty
convinced the gear does not wear - but instead the cables get pushed/bent
outward away from the gear over time. I think this is what Tony Lum was
getting at but I somewhat misunderstood him. Tonight I will try to bend
them back in. I will also try to figure out a way to massage the little
metal guide so that it keeps the cables closer to the gear.

Thanks guys

Brandon

... sorry to hear that what I thought would work didn't ...

One thing that comes to mind ... in fact it came to mind so quickly I wonder
if this isn't what I actually did to fix the problem ... is to get a longer
screw and add separate nuts underneath the crank mechanism ...

When I checked my car I just checked the top, I did not remove the cover
underneath ...

Did you look for wear on the drive gear?
