Hmm...I have read that the models that have been made street-legal for
the US have generally had mods made that actually end up improving
engine performance pretty significantly. The article also quoted a
racing driver comparing it to the McClaren F1 and remarking how much
more stable and predictable it was.
I guess I've never driven anything that's actually cutting-edge. That
may change in a couple months, the guy who I bought my Urq from has
just ordered a new 997 Turbo and will have to come to Seattle to pick
it up.
Was it laggy Bob? Or just a general lack of power compared to more
modern vehicles?
