[urq] prop shaft questions

Can anyone say for sure whether the propeller shaft off the 1986 coupe quattro (non-turbo) (60mm dia) is a straight swap for the prop shaft of a 1987 WR quattro? It looks the same, has same centre bearing but non sure about the diff and g/box fittings and overall length. Too wet outside here to get under it! Fairweather mechanic me.

Also anyone know of a UK supplier of the pro shaft Universal joint?
