I have mixed up the terms for "over square" and "under square" in my previous statements about the Trans Am engine. My mistake..... 

"oversquare or shortstroke if its cylinders have a greater bore (width, diameter) than stroke (length of piston travel)."

"undersquare or longstroke if its cylinders have a smaller bore (width, diameter) than stroke (length of piston travel)."
