The Audi Gods were looking after me this morning. Today on the way to work, I was pulled over for going 140 mph. Let me begin with the events that happened before I was pulled over. I take the Atlantic City Expressway to work every day. There is one toll booth that I go threw that's about 10 miles from Atlantic City International Airport (where I work) The 40+ miles before I went threw the toll booth is where it began. Another car with one head light working was driving at a good steady pace (80-85 mph) and he was my point man. I never lead anymore and he would be the first to get hit by radar. He decided to try to "shake" me and was very unsuccessful. He then started to drive like a complete ass hole and even tried to run me off the road. I tried slowing down and he did the same. We ran into traffic and he blocked me in. I have EZ-pass and he didn't and when we got to the toll booth, I never stopped and drove through. I was a couple miles from the toll booth and I see a single hea
d light gaining on me very fast. I was in the center lane going 70-75 and the single head light was in the far left. The vehicle in front of me was a bus, so I moved to the far right lane and down shifted into 5th and took it to red line, up shifted to 6th and ran it through a lot of numbers on the tach. The single head light was going at least 100+. As soon as we were both next to the bus, he never made it past me and I continued on to 140 mph. Well that single head light was a motorcycle, a New Jersey State Police/Trooper motorcycle! He flipped the switch and light up the bike like a Christmas tree and pulled me over. When he knocked on the passenger window, he was trying not to smile, and asked me if I knew I was going over 100 mph? I told him I was going 140 mph. He asked for my license and registration and he walked to his bike. All he did was check my back license plate and he returned and asked where I was going. I told him that I was going to work and I thought his single h
ead light was another vehicle that was messing with me before the toll booth and I didn't want him to try to run me off the road again. I asked him if he know a high ranking state trooper that I'm friends with from the airport, I dropped his name to him and he said he knew him. He then called me Mario Andretti and told me to have a nice day! and that's it. He buzzed away and I soon followed. Un-freakin-believable!
