[urq] Location of T1x connector in engine bay

I've tracked down my previous 'oil temp gauge not working' problem: there is a short in the wire, prob. broken.

According the 1986 quattro electrical diagram there are 2 connectors: one in engine bay and one behind the dash.

G8 = oil temp sender
T1x = 1-pole conn. engine bay
T2p = 2-pole conn. dash
G9 = oil temp gauge

The wire from G8 to T1x is prob. broken because it runs directly under the car attached to the oil pan. To be 100% sure this is the broken piece I need to locate the T1x connector but I can't find it. Does anyone know where it's located? I know it's hard to explain without me physically being there, but it would help me a lot.

I ran a temp wire from the sender directly to the gauge and it worked perfectly.
