My '85 has been for sale for a while now.  
The first time I offered it on ebay I got the best result @ just over $15k.
Last time it barely got up to $6k.
I have $8k in the 20v conversion in parts alone and this is my pricing i.e.
great deals.  Oh well.. looks like I am stuck with it forever.. :)

That's 21K in broad strokes for this no-expense-spared track car.  I
did what Alex of IA said I should do every step of the way because
he's done it all before on race cars.  His 4kq race car was an
absolute barnstormer and still runs like a champ at ACNA events for
it's current owner in CA.  Could I have saved money here or there,
sure.  Would I expect someone to pay $30K for my car, of course not.
But I thought half was a reasonable goal.
