[urq] Hall sensor won't work when it's damp?

Car was running quite well last night, thought I'd drive it to work
this morning (not far).

Won't start. But it did this a couple of days ago, and I thought it
was a matter of the pins on the connector to the Hall sensor being
loose. Well, I tightened them, and the Hall sensor still doesn't seem
to work, because the ECU doesn't see an RPM signal.

The old ECU never failed to start the car until it actually up and
died. And I'm guessing that the 4kq that the distributor got pulled
from started when it was damp out too. Are these things really that
sensitive, do I need to throw some dielectric grease in there or
something.

Two steps forward, one back,
Thatcher
