[urq] window regulators

Johan,
There are three rubber bushes that mount the motor
assembly to the door. Over time the bushes fail and
that allows the motor to move around. Often the plastic
supports at the motor output that the wires run through
break off.
There is not much you can do if the plastic supports
break, but replacing the rubber mounts is easy. You are
suppose to grease the wires annually but I wonder how
many get this treatment.
cheers, Mike

Subject: [urq] window regulators
Hi,
has anyone BTDTs on fixing window regulators? The electric motors in the
ones in my -88 MB are working, but theres a heck of a sound when I try
to use them and the windows do not really want to move. It also sounds
as if the regulator motors has ripped loose inside the doors.
regards,
Johan
