[urq] restoring the interior?

Nick Franks had his interior fully restored ... looked just like the factory work ... diagonal stitching with the padding.  He had the work done at some place down here in the South Bay (San Jose) ... I asked him the name but never got it ... of course he has now sold his car and become a vagabond :-) ... he did say that they were just an upholstery shop ... it wasn't that they specialized in Audis.  He told me how much the work cost ... and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would have been.

So ... ask around to find the names of a couple reputable upholsterers in your area and have them quote the job.  You might want to post to the ba-group to see if there are any local recommendations ...
