It will definitely go only one direction, but I can't get the darned things  
to budge with some mighty big hammers.
I have several spare dizzies and tried on one that is a little worse for  
wear already. While pounding on it, propped on some wood as a backing plate, the  
gear teeth broke but the pin didn't budge. Just for kicks since it was trash  
anyway, I hit it with my air hammer - still won't budge. That is the first 
item  that my air hammer won't move. I was careful not to "mushroom" the pin so 
as to  permanently rivet it in from both ends, but these rascals are in there  
tight.
I'll keep trying till I find the "technique" to which it responds (or  
succombs).
