[urq] Taillight issue fixed!

Don't feel like the "Lone Ranger".
I've been watching this thread with some interest as my car signals fine  
with the lights off, but the right signal blinks both sides dimly with the  
lights on. The previous owner relayed the headlights, so who knows what I might  
find.
Any ideas?
Could a dash swap light switch wiring issue cause this? 
FWIW, over a year ago I grounded both tail lights directly to  chassis.
I'm not fond of mechanical problems, but electrical issues drive me  crazy.
