I don't think adding a Cat is going to fix that.
I've punched out cats before and never had a rich smell.

Guys -
I've been running a test pipe for a while - and while I love the quicker
spool up, I'm not a fan of smelling like rich exhaust after I drive the
car.  So I'm thinking I want to install a hi flow cat.  Who here has
experience with these?  Can I have one retro-fitted into stock cat
shell?
 
Who would you recommend to have this done?  Or should I just go to a
local exhaust shop?
