Actually, the car is running pretty well. I had been slacking since
it ran pretty well right out of the box, I had it running rich because
I wasn't exactly sure where my timing was.

I failed emissions the fist time I tried it here in WA. It was great
at idle but bad at 2500rpm. So I went out, bought a timing light, set
my timing where it should be and then tuned my map up a bit. It was
squeaky clean the second time I tried.

I've got some minor issues to work out with cold start and the IAC,
but I don't even wonder if the car is going to start for me anymore.
I think I need to put it on a dyno to really get the WOT tuning where
it should be, put it pulls very well already, I'd say at least 10-15hp
more than stock.

I can't keep driving it to work every day, so my budget is focused on
getting another Audi for a DD now. I'm thinking of an allroad or a
C4/C5 A6 wagon.

I'm hoping to replace all the bushings, etc. toward the end of the
summer. At that point, all it will need will be some cosmetic
attention. If you'd asked me if I'd ever get to that stage 5 years
ago I probably would have said no!
