Since you'll have 2 MAC02's and 2 distributors, why not just "simplify" the project and install 2 I-5s? That way you could have one front engine, and then one "Lambo" style rear engine. You could even "T" the vacuum line running to the cruise control right back to the second engine.
However, you would now have 2 starter/ignition circuits running through that "robust" OE ignition switch.
You could lighten the car by removing the heater core, and simply install a small fan that would blow air across the hot side of the rear engine's turbo... towards the driver. In fact, that might not even be needed to keep the driver warm. A/C would be another issue. My immediate thought is that a roof mounted swamp cooler would fit the bill.
Drivetrain would require a switch to a front wheel drive transaxle for the front engine, and a 944 style rear transaxle out back. From what I understand, this drivetrain is a plug-and-play upgrade using off the shelf parts that are easily obtainable from your local Audi dealer.
The dash is a bit tricky, as you would need 2 tachometers.
Fuel storage presents a challenge as well. With the rear engine, the fuel tank must be relocated. The best, and most cost effective solution, is to source one of those "back half of the pickup truck" style trailers found throughout the southern states. It can be painted to match your UrQ, and is capable of housing a very large fuel tank. Also, since this style of trailer always comes equipped with a differential, the possibility of 6 wheel drive is always an option.
No matter which way you go, this setup is a guaranteed head turner.

Subject: [urq] V10 in to an ur-q
Looking for BTDTs on swapping a neu S6/S8 V10 in to an ur-q.
Will it bolt up to the 016 or should I plan on retaining the flappy
paddle gear box? Is the dash a bolt in swap or will I need to
modify the cover? I might be able to modify a taxi gauge cluster
to make it work? Will the MMI work with the MAC02? I am
concerned here, because the donor car is an early '83 with
fuse box inside.
I plan on retaining the CIS and adding a second distributor on the
drivers side, will this clear the radiator? Does someone have
a cheap MAC02 I could buy? I don't mind if the pressure transducer
doesn't work in boost.
I have heard the engine mounts bolt up but there are issues with
the starter wires needing to be lengthened - this could be a show
stopper. Also some say I have to go with G60s with this swap, is
that really necessary?
Alternatively I was thinking about losing the back seat and going
with the Lambo layout, but I don't think the kids would be happy
walking, comments?
Cheers, Mike
