I wonder if it makes that much difference. Does anyone have the CAC unit who can report on the exhaust note with that setup? 
 
The CAC unit bolted right up to my factory pipe and sounds very nice.  It is a bit larger than the Borla (diameter) I had on for 15 years, so it shows a bit more from the rear, but it looks and sounds very good.  Not as raspy as the Borla, but then again I was not looking for a coffee can that farted!
