Well, I just picked up the sticker from the DMV ... so "phase 1" of the project is complete.  DA222 has the MC-2 engine installed and the car is running.  It isn't quite ready for UPG2008 yet, but it will be!  :-)

I thought I'd take a moment to those who helped with the issues that have come up during the conversion ... most notably Scott J, Ben S and Brandon R ... but there were quite a few others who offered their thoughts and BTDT ... and I appreciate all of it.  

This weekend I hope to have a chance to crawl around it to check things out.  The first thing that I want to do is to see if I can't get the MC-2 CIS installed and working.  I don't know about filling up with $4 per gallon fuel just yet :-) ... but that is in large part so that I can refresh the rubber near the tank.  I do have to get enough gas to take a quick run up San Felipe road though!
