[urq] In Tank Screen Removal

I have the tank out – that wasn’t too bad and removing all the stereo equipment out of
the way took most of the time.
There is no way I could get my hand through the sender hole - Maybe a midget with very
long arms.
It is hard to see inside, and where is a decent working flashlight when you need one? I
think I’ll drop an LED on some leads in there – sealed connections of course.
Poking the screen out looks like it will be the best option and at least sith the tank
out, I can flush any debris or particles.
This is a good chance to replace all the lines – again.

Ben,
Haven't done it myself. I would THINK you could just poke through it. Otherwise I know
someone who actually removed the tank, cut open the tank, removed the screen and welded
the tank back up again. I'm pretty sure you DONT want to have to go that route!
Best,
Ingo

I’m finally getting to do the fuel pump repairs. How do I remove the screen in the
tank?
I got a lot of suggestions to check this a week or so ago. In fact I’d like to remove
it. Thought I had already eliminated anything to slow the flow but this can only cause
trouble. How do I get it out or make it so all I have is a clear line into the tank?
Can I just poke it out?
Ben
