  Alain,

If the gauges are from Audi model, then one needs white LED for the 
gauges, since they have orange filter installed already. Red LED makes 
them look odd. I've also installed 3mm bright red LEDs' with resistor 
into all the switches (fiddly but doable), and they look great.
