Nice transition, Al...? perhaps a subtle attempt to get us off the well worn PCV topic?

To answer your question, I'm going to make the assumption that you are experiencing a situation where the battery is being slowly discharged if the car sits too many days.

To measure current draw, disconnect either one of the 2 battery cables from the battery itself.? Take a multimeter and set it to measure mA's (milliAmps).? Connect one lead to the battery post, and the other to the battery cable normally attached to that post.? Any draw on the battery will now be measured by the multimeter.? Something 4mA or lower is "normal."? If your reading exceeds that figure, I would suggest that you try to narrow it down to a specific circuit.

This can be accomplished by removing and replacing one fuse at a time at the fuse panel.? Sooner or later you will remove a fuse that causes your reading to drop to an acceptable level.? Then you can investigate that circuit for a problem.

HTH,
Dave

For some of us who don't understand how to measure "battery drain", could
someone please explain.
Thanks
Al
