For what’s it worth, I thought that going to an AAN motor that had less
mileage (78K), would be less expensive in the long run than rebuilding a 3B
with the limited run of the 3B here in the US. Having driven both AANs and
3Bs a lot my feeling was the AAN was the better deal and better motor.
Despite being advised that I would have to replace the Intake Manifold, Oil
Pan, Water Manifold, Crank Pulley, Flywheel with pretty much 3B parts.
Believe me, the list didn’t seem to ever stop! Grab a 3B and drop it in!
