In the Porsche world, many (not me) have had great success with West Hollywood Speedometer
or Palo Alto Speedometer for restoration, gauge face conversions, calibration, etc.
Whether they can do a one-off custom thang like you're talking about I don't know, but
they're considered very good, so it might be worth asking.

Subject: [urq] Making Gauge Faces
... I'm looking at hooking up the VDO Boost gauge in the ABT extension pod,
so I can hook up a standard temp gauge in the dash. AFAIK there is no temp
gauge face that matches the graphics like the fuel gauge has ... the
checkerboard style. Has anyone had a gauge face that is like the urq style
made? ... or any other gauge face for that matter? Any suggestions on
vendors?
Thanks!
