[urq] trying to get the odo working...

gentlemen,
   
  the odo in my 84 has been inop since I've owned it. I have no idea how many miles are actually on the car (don't care either), but I'd like to fix. someone had a really nice how-to for the plastic gear repair but I can't seem to find it. any help ?
