Ingo,
You are right.? I was able to attend on Saturday and part of Sunday.? I have to say that the event was a lot of fun, thanks to the efforts of the organizers.? Good food... good folks... and plenty of nice cars.? Also, some fun story telling and pictures by Carl Baeher (sp?) at the banquet.
Highlights for me were Dean Treadway's sport Q and a very nice RR.? Also present was a 2Bennett long wheelbase sport quattro conversion, a very nice display of their craftsmanship.? James B brought his rally car (and blew a center diff, ouch), and Mike Pederson crashed the party with a nice new R8.
All in all, it was very fun, and a nice opportunity to meet some of the folks I have only known through email.? I even got a picture of Martin P riding shotgun in the sport Q.
There were also plenty of tuners present with some of their stuff.? At Sunday's track day, 3zero3's S4's were running strong, as was Brendan Rudack's (Apikol) 1.8t... making 280 something at the wheels on E85.
It was great to meet new folks, and catch up with the rest.? I'm sure I've missed something... but I had a great time.
Dave
