Thanks for the input, Todd's discussion with Mance is quite enlightening,

but apparently he did not go that direction, and since I have a set of
almost new

urS6 front struts.it gets me wondering if that will convert into something
useful

that will allow big brakes and wheels to align?  I guess I should find a set
of

urq front struts so I can make the comparisons out of car.

 

Understand nothing is plug N play, but sometimes we get lucky or someone
else

has made it work
