You should try living here in the UK - it's even worse.
If you've got a job you end up worse off that the people who haven't.
TV is being forced to switch to digital transmissions that have appalling 
reception.
The only powers that the police have left seem to be related to motoring.
It's now difficult to do anything without breaking several laws or 
regulations. Some years ago I had a Cgt as a daily driver. When I put my Ur 
back on the road I used the Cgt as a parts car, eventually breaking it. The 
car doesn't exist anymore but I have to keep registering it as 'off-road' 
each year because if I declare it scrapped without paperwork to show that it 
was disposed of in an 'environmentally friendly way' (at an approved 
breakers) I get fined.
There's more....

Now I've written those down I've an urge to emigrate.
