[urq] Pressure Accumulator substitution

Ok, maybe this is a stupid question but I have one of these on my shelf, new in a box...has been sitting for about a year, I'm about to replace it on my car, but the question is i know these hold some presure, but do they go bad by just sitting on one's shelf?
