[urq] hot start issues

Hmmm, I don't have that much experience, but so far the MC-2 has been the fastest firing I-5 I've had. I had attributed it to the higher static compression, but that probably doesn't matter. I even have the injector cooling stuff off while I get the MC-2 FI stuff into place.
I have had some problems on cold start on rare occasion, and my prime suspect is the Hot Start Pulse relay ... I've never trusted it ... I think it is flooding the engine. I was about to say that this was with 2 different CS injectors, but now that I think about it I probably still have the one that was on the WX. I never leave the key in the start position for more than a couple seconds. Most of the time this is more than enough, but sometimes I need 2 or 3 tries ...
One thing that plagues the V8 with heat soak is the flywheel sensors, perhaps you've got a problem there. You might want to check to make sure you have spark.

MC2 engined UrQ which sits way too long in between drives has started having hot start issues lately. I will probably do the injector seals this week, and maybe clean the check valve at the fuel pump, but what am I missing? It seems there was also a sensor that may be suspect...
