I don't want to convert to R-134A - I'll just use Envirosafe - easier and seems to work
better.
I think my compressor may have a leak, but never confirmed where the loss of Freon was
going, except that the system seemed to leak down while running.
So it would be good to source another known good unit. I'm finally getting around to
putting this back in as one of the last things after new engine and megasquirt.

Hi Ben,
York was bought out by a company called CCI (Climate Control Inc.) I have the service
manual in pdf form if you need it. These are quite popular in trucks, so a trucking
supply or even NAPA might get you a R-134 retrofit kit.

Subject: ~83 Ur Quattro with early style square YORK compressor
1.~Is there a rebuild kit available for these.
2.~Does anyone have a known good ~ no leaks good cooling unit they want to sell.
I~d retrofit to a newer style, but I need the one with the yoke lock connections that
retain the lines ~ not the screw on compression fitting ones.
I think these also come on the earlier 4000s, CGTs and 4kqs.
Ben
