I _had_ to cut mine - and the hard line too because the fittings were
corroded solid. You _really_ do not want to know how much the hard line is
for a RHD car or how much work is needed to replace the thing. I couldn't
work out how to do the job without removing the heater and that was the
start of my problems....
Once I found out that it was over GBP150 + tax I bought some 1/4" brake line
(not easy to find), a load of M12 flare nuts (even more difficult to find)
and spent a week duplicating the almost impossibly tight bends of the
original and really wishing that I was doing the job on one of my LHD cars.
