I applaud Audi for how they disposed of the parts. What they *should have
done* (and did here in the states btw) is to take it all to the crusher, and
call it NLA, write off the full retail price of the part. The fact they gave
a chance for them to be sold for pennies on the dollar, needs more credit,
not discredit. Several folks here in the states got in on it too, so Audi
didn't need to make it cost a fortune to put it up for US consumption. Some can
moan about missing out, but that decision wasn't a secret.
Audi bailed on urq ball joints and a lot of other parts. Mike, I personally
have dreams at night thinking folks have to sell their urq's cheap because
the suspension is falling off the car. Do you really see this happening? I
don't... Audi made a business decision. Attempts at re-motivating them seems
pretty futile to me. Motivate Dahlbach, MTM, Lehmann, 034 and Apikol...
Focus your energies that produces results. All the rest was a dream on which
Audi already clearly demonstrated their position... Wake up?

I would be really cheesed off if I owned a sport
and witnessed the way they disposed of the last
parts.
And I still don't understand Audi's attitude when
It comes to safety items like ball joints and tie
rods. Even NLA subframe busings, I guess you just
park the car and trailer it places for PR work.
Given the number of cars in North America versus
Germany and the UK, I doubt Audi NA will ever
show interest. I am surprised the UK and German
Ur-q owners have't been able to get a bit of recognition
for the lack of parts.
